7. Esekegelepe

Drawing of a nude man with a sign tattoo, stylized beard and odd hat. He brandishes a short spear and is accompanied by a pet that looks like an alligator as drawn by someone who's heard of alligators but has never seen one

7. Esekegelepe

A legendary warrior prince from another world, who ruled his land for 32 years, defeating monsters and human enemies left and right, until one day, he and his two concubines suddenly disappeared, never to return.
Esekegelepe is one of three characters who will appear as statues in the second Tess Durban adventure, which is already written in full – all I have to do is find the time to draw it! The other two statues are of Jenny Everywhere and a being called The Outcast, both of whom also appeared from another world and then vanished.

This is probably not the best drawing in my 30 Days of Characters series. Staying within the time slot sometimes makes it difficult to go back and make changes, and some characters aren’t as eager, as it were, to be drawn as others. Esekegelepe should be glad I’m putting in this much work to prepare for his one appearance in statue form.
